01 / Our expertise

The next step,
grounded in evidence.

Start with a specific technical challenge, a funding opportunity, or a development goal. We shape the work around the decision you need to make.

01

R&D strategy

A research plan you can put to work.

Assess feasibility, compare technical approaches, and identify the questions that need answering. We help turn uncertainty into an executable research plan.

Typical workResearch roadmaps · Feasibility assessments · Experimental plans · Independent technical reviews

02

Government funding

A clear technical case for your work.

Find relevant programs, assess fit against published requirements, and prepare competitive funding applications. We support technical engagement with agencies, including program discussions, presentations, and responses to technical feedback.

Typical workOpportunity research · Technical narratives · Work plans & milestones · Budget narratives · Agency meeting preparation

03

Technical research

Understand what the evidence supports.

Resolve scientific questions through literature review, data analysis, modeling, and factual technology comparisons. Our methods draw on applied mathematics, optimization, statistics, and machine learning as the problem requires.

Typical workResearch briefs · Computational models · Data analysis · Documented assumptions & limitations

04

Prototyping

Build something you can test.

Move from analysis into proof-of-concept builds, prototype iterations, and small-batch development for testing and evaluation. We agree on the requirements and test criteria, then use the results to guide the next iteration.

Typical workProofs of concept · Prototype development · Small-batch evaluation runs · Test planning

05

Scientific advisory

A scientific perspective at the decision table.

Experienced scientific input for founders, executives, and boards. We assess technical claims, prioritize R&D, and connect research findings to product and business decisions, through focused engagements or ongoing support.

Typical workTechnology assessments · R&D prioritization · Decision briefs · Ongoing scientific advice

Experience across

Aerospace · Energy services · Microelectronics · Metallurgy

02 / Our people

Research depth meets
engineering judgment.

Complementary expertise, shared research, and experience turning complex technical questions into practical work.

03 / How we work

A clear scope.
A useful result.

We agree on the work, responsibilities, timing, and fees before a project begins. The engagement can be a focused assessment, a defined development project, or ongoing advisory.

Find the right starting point
  1. 01

    Frame the challenge

Tell us what you are working on, the evidence you have, and the decision or deadline ahead.

  2. 02

    Define the work

A focused working session establishes the key questions, success criteria, and concrete deliverables.

  3. 03

    Develop & review

We carry out the research, proposal support, or prototype work and review the findings with your team.
